Devoré, also called burnout, is process used on mixed material fabrics, usually silk and rayon. Chemically reactive gels are used to dissolve the rayon fibers leaving a solid pattern against a translucent background.
The pattern in this scarf is whimsical dots.
The scarf measures 8"x54". It will make a bright accent for you outfit, or a band for your head.
Hand wash, cold water, mild soap, hang to dry. May be ironed.
